'The short life of Mr. Mani Kin'

In the Shadow of Man Ray

Mr. Mani Kin owes his short but illustrious life to Mr. Woodman, one of many of Man Ray's creations.

Man Ray (born Emmanuel Radnitzky) was a famous American visual artist.

Mr. Woodman was a artist manikin and the subject of some of Man Ray's photograph's (along with Mrs. Woodman who also appeared in a series).

I recently came across some of these pictures and I was hooked.

I happened to have such a manikin which gathered dust for many years in my closet.

And now it was the time to bring it back to life and give it some fame.

Mr. Mani Kin was born!
